Launching a digital bank is no longer a privilege of large financial groups. A neobank can reach the market in 4–6 months — provided the architecture, licensing and compliance are designed from day one.
The first decision is the model. Banking-as-a-Service lets you start on a partner bank’s infrastructure with the fastest time to market. A full banking licence offers more freedom and margin but requires capital and time. For most newcomers we recommend starting with BaaS and moving to a licence after product-market fit.
The technology core is core banking, card processing, KYC/onboarding and the mobile app. Compliance — sanctions screening (OFAC, UN, EU, UK), transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting — must work from day one.
WOOX designs and launches digital banks turnkey, with an average time to launch of 4–6 months. If you are planning a neobank, tell us about it and we will propose the optimal path.
